Drawing, painting, pottery - art courses and workshops for children, teenagers and adults
Learning to draw is learning to see. In the painting and drawing courses, you will learn step by step the ability to sketch objects, set light and shadow and create various hatchings. Paint with watercolors, acrylic paints, or oil paints. Each technology has its advantages and also its challenges. With many tips and tricks you will approach the different motives and techniques. But the most important thing is: the journey is the goal! Painting should above all be fun and relax.
About the course instructors:
Barbara Landbeck (owner of the art school) studied illustration at the HAW (University of Applied Sciences) in Hamburg. In addition to her work as director of the art school in the Elbe in Hamburg, she writes and illustrates children's books. It is important to her to convey the joy of the process of painting and drawing.

Inga Dorofeeva studied illustration and communication design at the HAW Hamburg. She has drawn and designed for various publishers, magazines and theaters, organized and set up exhibitions, published screen-printed books and routed agencies as a graphic designer.
In her lessons, the basics of painting and drawing are taught in an uncomplicated manner and the skills acquired are deepened. The pace is determined by the student. Once a basic set of skills has been built up, it is important to carefully accompany the creative process in order to enable further progress and to maintain openness to new things.
